HI All,
Well its day 4 in counting! So today was just a day of traveling. We left Denver, CO at 7 am and arrived in Minneapolis, MN at 9:35 am. It was a great flight, I slept the whole way. We made to the hotel by 11:30 am checked and then took a long nap :).
Tomorrow will be a long day with a variety of different tests. I will be in a case study to hopefully help other people having Islet Auto-transplant. I will let you know how the day goes.
Talk to you tomorrow. God Bless
Angie

Welcome to my Blog, I have a pancreas divisium and chronic pancreatitis and will be undergoing a full pancreatectomy as well as an islet autotransplantation. My name is Angie and I am 32 years old. I have had chronic pain for 7 years now and have undergone over 76 ERCP procedures to place stints in my pancreas in an effort to open my minor papilla duct to increase flow and alleviate pain. The stints are no longer working so we will be moving to the next steps which is a pancreatectomy and spleanectomy. I will be documenting this experience in hopes to help others in this situation. Please bare with us for a bit cause we are still in the construction phase 🙂 .
